Art Together Now
Spring 2021
As the Design Lead for the Playful Learning Lab, a research group at the University of St. Thomas, I helped lead the design and videography for our Art Together Now project. The project is a collaboration with Grammy-award winning band, OK Go to have students and educators to create a piece of artwork inspired by COVID-19 frontline workers, like OK Go demonstrates in their song, “All Together Now”.
Our team reached out to over 15,000+ people from around the world to submit music and colored video frame submissions to create five animations to the song, “All Together Now.” As design lead, I directed, filmed, and edited 10 behind-the-scenes documentaries and 5 live-action sequences included in final five animations within 4 months. I also managed over 15,000 art submissions from 20+ countries that were used to produce five unique animations in 4 months.
Project featured in TED2022: A New Era, Rolling Stone, Mpls St.Paul Magazine, and Chicago Tribune.
